Summary: There it is. The classical tale of love without boundaries. In this case, a hapless man and the demon who came into his life when he needed her the most. Likewise, he's the best hope she's got to escape the higher-ups of her realm.

History: Yuan Hansen was a down-on-his-luck guy with mountains of debt after a failed film career. But one day, he meets Bai Xianchu, a beautiful woman who is in fact a demon on the run from the Bureau Of Transfiguration (BOT), an organization that prohibits human-demon relations. Leading this cabal is Yun Zhonghe, an angelic being who would see these two star-crossed lovers separated forever. But Yuan's not going to give up the best thing in his life without a fight.

Final Fate: After Yuan's actions expose lies and cause chaos, several BOT inmates, helped by its second-in-command ironically, bring Yun down to tear his wings apart. After he severely wounds Yuan, Bai tosses his flightless form into the distance to his demise. In the end, BOT becomes more benign, and the couple are allowed into the demon realm to enjoy themselves.

Powers/Abilities: Demons all have unique forms to shapeshift into. In Bai's case, her true form is a large Arctic Fox as big as an elephant.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Most of the demons are just regular folk who happen to have special shapeshifting powers. The forms themselves are hobbled by both bad CGI and not the worst of intentions. Yun is really just a corrupt executive with fancy wings while Bai is rather adorable in all her forms.

Trivia: -Bai closely resembles a Kitsune, a fox-like Yokai of Japanese folklore known for its trickery and rivalry with the tanuki. They are also known for turning into, and occasionally possessing, humans.

-When it came time to film Yuan's actor running shirtless through the streets away from Bai, director Yang Xiau was adamant that he do no workouts in order to keep his unlikely and ordinary appearance that complimented his character.
